Cache, Cachet, Cash

As a noun, cache refers to a hidden supply of valuables, such as food, jewels, and cash. But it can also refer to the hiding place where you keep those items. The verb cache means "to hide treasure in a secret place": He cached all of his cash in a cache.

The noun cachet means "prestige; distinction." Few cities can match the cachet of Paris.
